Brand Manager

Location: Finisklin Industrial Estate, Sligo

Job Description:

  • Take the lead in developing and promoting the Good4U brand across all markets
  • Analyse current brand positioning and market perception and identify opportunities for optimisation
  • Ensure all marketing activities and stakeholder engagement is in keeping with Good4U’s Mission, Vision and Values
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues
  • Ensure all brand communications are consistent across all touchpoints, platforms, packaging etc.
  • Help design, develop and implement PR campaigns for Good4U
  • Identify awards opportunities and submit application for awards
  • Initiate and oversee the development of industry leading creative media campaigns to support all other marketing functions i.e. product launches, instore promotions, new service offerings etc.
  • Create, build and sustain relationships with media contacts
  • Help maximise coverage through excellent communication with online marketing campaign manager, marketing manager and key accounts manager
  • Identify trade/consumer shows, events, charities and opportunities to promote the Good4U brand
  • Monitor media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires and blogs, for opportunities for Good4U
  • Work as part of Marketing team to develop client proposals and implement PR activity
  • Collate, analyse and evaluate media coverage
  • Event management, including press conferences and promotional events
  • Monitor and assess the production of Good4U publications, such as newsletters
  • Oversee all studio or location photography
  • Take ownership in the design, development and implementation of PR activity for new product introductions
  • Establish KPIs for Brand functions and analyse all activities against set targets

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, communications or public relations is mandatory with a post graduate qualification an advantage
  • Proven working experience as brand manager or associate brand manager
  • Highly creative with ability to think out of box
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Excellent written, verbal and overall communication skills
  • Strong ability to be proactive and work under pressure
  • Very high ethical standards, initiative and good judgment
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fluent English is a must, additional European languages is a plus
